daphne, that's because I uploaded the original image, which is a larger size, to an image hosting server, so when you click on it, it links to the larger image I uploaded earlier.
Damien, if you're interested, please contact me on the phone for more information. by the way, I tried a few times to meet you at your centre, but you're always not around! I want to get from you the details for the Chemistry tuition you are offering. Julian Cheah

dapthne, I'm giving free lessonS, not just a lesson!
I always correct my students' mistakes in their text (SMS) messages, chat messages, and emails, whenever possible, but sadly, most of them do not bother to learn, or change their habits, and some even ignore when I alert them that there are mistakes in their messages that they need to correct! they just don't bother! they don't care! I notice that you regularly make a lot of mistakes in your facebook comments, and I would strongly advise you against using such substandard language which does not suit your status as an undergraduate. What you are doing is reinforcing bad habits and when bad language becomes a part of you, it damages your language usage during your studies when you need to use proper language for your assignments, projects, and presentations. Since you are not my student, I try not to interfere with your interactions, and I won't correct your mistakes if possible, because it is not my responsibility to correct you - it's your lecturer's/professor's. But as your cyber friend, I would discourage you from repeating your mistakes, so unless your mistakes are blatantly glaring and intolerable to me, I will remain silent and overlook all your minor blunders. damien, normally I would be angry and say no when someone asks me "can i attend for fun?" because that means the person is not serious or sincere. but since this month is December, and it's the season to be jolly and merry, I am organising two special sessions - for Christmas, and for New Year - the special Christmas class will be held tomorrow, Tuesday, 22 December at about 8pm - the topic is about Christmas, so we will have some fun with activities to see how much we know about Christmas, and to discover more about Christmas. so, if you would like to join us to learn English by having fun with the language activities, then you are most welcome! however, if you don't wish to join the class as a participant, you may still attend as an observer - sitting quietly at a corner and observe the class without interrupting the class in any way. if it's neither of the two, then you may visit me 30 minutes before the class starts - we can have a friendly chat. so, what will it be? (a) join us on Tuesday 8pm as a participant to seriously learn English or learn about Christmas by taking part in all the fun language activities until the session ends (b) attend only as a silent observer (c) visit me and chat before the class starts your choice, your decision - but must confirm your attendance latest by 12 noon on Tuesday, which is tomorrow! let me know either by calling my mobile number and tell me, or send a text message (SMS) to my mobile number. thanks! Julian Cheah
